Our Firm

At Becker | French the client is the central focus of our practice. We do not accept our cases on the basis of what the case may be worth to our firm. Instead, we focus on how we can help the client recover compensation for their injuries so they can move on with their lives.

And when we are successful—we do not take more of the settlement, verdict, or award than is fair. We are not in the business of putting our own interests ahead of our clients.

Our practice can be broken down into three general types of concerns:

Our attorneys offer clients in Racine and Kenosha counties more than 70 years of combined legal experience and a sincere commitment to helping each one of them obtain the best possible outcome in their case. Attorney John Becker is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Justice (formerly the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers). In 1988, firm partner John A. Becker became the second youngest lawyer in Wisconsin to be certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Association of Workers' Comp Lawyers. Scott W. French, a former captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAGC), serves with the Wisconsin Association of Workers' Comp Lawyers and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. Their skills and talents combine to make Becker | French an exceptional asset to have working for you in personal injury, workers' compensation, and Social Security disability concerns.

Of equal importance is our firm's commitment to client service. Our lawyers work closely with clients because we believe it's important to understand people and their needs first if you are going to truly represent them well later on. When you call on us, if you have questions or concerns—you are going to talk with an attorney, not a legal secretary or paralegal. We are honest, responsive, and fair-minded. Likewise, we actively communicate to help you understand the law and the legal processes that will be involved in your case so you know what to expect from start to finish.
